Welcome to Phanx's WoWInterface Portal.

Here you'll find my addons (of course). While they're available on other UI sites as well, I use WoWI as my main base of operations, so if you have a question or comment, you'll generally get a much faster response if you post it here.

Need help writing your own addon?

I do not provide any private support or tutoring. If you are looking for someone to help you debug code, write code, or teach you how to write addons for WoW, post in one of these forums:

Please do not use private messages or email to report bugs, request features, ask for help with an addon, or ask for help with Lua programming. The only response you will get is a form letter with the same instructions and links that are on this page.

I'm still not raiding, or even playing on a regular basis, but my account is active, and I'll be resuming maintenance on all of my addons. Most addon work will occur on Saturdays and/or Sundays, so don't assume I'm dead if you post a comment or ticket early in the week and don't get an immediate response.

Taking a break

As many of you may already know if you've read many of my recent forum posts or addon comments, I've been pretty busy lately, and haven't had much time to spend working on my addons. I've also been spending a smaller percentage of my spare time playing WoW. I quit raiding months ago, and though I did level up to 85 in Cataclysm, the expansion has thus far failed to rekindle the enthusiasm I've felt for the game over most of the last six years. So, I've decided to officially take a break. My game subscription will (probably) stay active, and I'll still check the forums and my addon comments fairly regularly. My good friend Akkorian will be taking over primary maintenance on most of my addons for a while. I'm also looking for qualified people to permanently take over a few of my addons. I haven't used OnScreenHealth myself in over a year, and I no longer play the hunter for which I wrote Creature Comforts. If you have experience developing and maintaining WoW addons, actively use Creature Comforts and/or OnScreenHealth, and are interested in adopting it/them, send me a PM.
